The “S” in “Collaboration” is already part of the name Lantis, and it is also the common thread running through our culture program. With our “Together with Integrity” initiative, we aim in 2023 to teach all our employees the importance of safety and trust through workshops facilitated by our own culture ambassadors. To provide our culture ambassadors with the necessary confidence and background in this subject, we sought out a suitable partner for a Train-the-Trainer workshop.
Could we have partnered with a better organization than The Tipping Point for this? I dare say no. With immense knowledge and expertise, but equally with enthusiasm and drive, Kristin provided us with the tools, frameworks, and facilitation tips we needed. The content was theoretical, but delivered in a practical and interactive way. Well-prepared, yet also responsive to the needs and questions that arose throughout the day.
Additionally, the very comprehensive toolbox on the topic of psychological safety and trust has set us up well to continue building on this as a team of culture ambassadors. A solid foundation for our “Together with Integrity” initiative—thank you, The Tipping Point!
The Coach Conference is Nike’s first two-day leadership training for distribution leaders, aimed at accelerating the growth of our leaders through action learning. Our coaches and distribution managers lead with the mission, “Athletes serving athletes personally.”
Our goal during this learning journey was to equip our 450 leaders with the right tools and experiences to develop the skills needed to excel and grow in their leadership identity, ultimately creating high-performing teams.
To shape the content of this Coach Conference, we partnered with The Tipping Point. At Nike, we strongly believe in teamwork, and this was fully realized in our collaboration with The Tipping Point team. Together, we co-created the right practical and content-driven solutions tailored to our leaders. The result? Four custom workshops designed specifically for our target audience.
Our leaders gained valuable tips and tricks on how to prepare for and engage in courageous conversations. The practical experience of applying these tips immediately, in a safe environment with professional actors, was the icing on the cake. A successful collaboration that definitely leaves us wanting more!
To support the transformation—because that’s what it is for us—from a rather rigid feedback and evaluation cycle to a more open feedback and motivation culture, we sought a training partner to guide and support us in this process. Within this culture, we place a strong focus on the resilience of our employees, on meaningful conversations when they matter most, and on motivation—how to recognize it and give it a personal boost. Turning a new and still undefined concept into something more concrete, tailored to our needs and with a focus on impact, was exactly what we needed—and that happens to be the strength of The Tipping Point.
Together, we developed a program for both employees and managers, with a focus on creating impact through practical tools and actionable frameworks. Both Sarah, the Learning Architect, and the trainer Kristin were invaluable and critical sparring partners throughout this process. Another pilot session here or there? We did whatever was necessary to create the learning tools our organization needs today.
In the transformation towards a culture of continuous feedback, we engaged The Tipping Point as our training partner. I was greatly impressed by the speed with which they were able to develop a customized learning program. Their strong expertise in the field of feedback quickly became apparent. Covid-19 introduced an additional challenge, which they embraced as an opportunity to go digital. The Tipping Point is not just a training provider. You can build a close partnership with them, based on open, to-the-point communication in which feedback is genuinely valued and acted upon. At the same time, they offer a remarkable level of flexibility to meet evolving needs and demands.
